Our heat exchanger design team delivered ground breaking work during quarter one of 2009 with the design of the High Pressure In-line cooling unit, which has been developed for the mining industry. This Stainless steel tube with copper fin heat exchanger cooling unit operates between 180 - 200 Bar (18 - 20 MPa) and is predominantly used for cooling air in underground operations at a depth of approximately 2500m.
The Spiral Wound Copper Tube manufacturing process is the heart of our business and we have a unique process that was developed and refined over an eighteen-month period. Cooler Engineering is industrial heat exchanger manufacturers whom are able to manufacture a copper finned tube with 7mm and 9mm copper fins. The copper fin is soldered onto the copper tube and as a result it enhances the heat transfer properties of our heat exchangers, which effectively drive down cost and efficiently increase performance.
